From workshops to Photo Outings we try to find any opportunity we can to shoot and improve our photography skills. Meetings are sometimes in person or online, with the majority of our in-person meetups at Port Moody Secondary in the drama room.
When we meet:
Club meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 7:30 PM. We have adopted a hybrid model for our meetings. Some meeting will be in-person and others will be via Zoom.
The in-person meetings will be held in the Drama room of Port Moody Secondary School. For a complete list of meeting dates indicating whether they are Zoom or in-person and associated agendas visit our website at: www.pdpc.ca/events
Photo Outings
PDPC Photo Outings offer members a chance to enhance their photography skills and artistic eye through monthly outings during the club season. All members, regardless of skill level, are encouraged to join.
Eco-Friendly Design
Members receive email reminders about two weeks before each outing, and registration is free.
Participants often gather for coffee or dinner after the outings.
Multilingual Functionality
Participants are asked to submit a few images from each outing to share at the next club meeting. These images are compiled into a show with photographer credits, allowing members to discuss and learn from each other’s work.
24/7 Support
Any entry fees are the responsibility of the members. Outings proceed regardless of weather unless it's unsafe to travel.
While no formal instruction is provided, many members are happy to share their knowledge.
